Mission Statement:

The Biloxi Chamber of Commerce is the strong, unified voice of business, organized to ensure Biloxi will fully realize its potential as the economic and cultural center of South Mississippi.

The Biloxi Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to:

  • Coordination of efforts to maintain and strengthen a sound business climate
  • Implementation of aggressive programs, policies, projects, and services which provide for the full development of our human and economic resources
  • Providing creative business leadership and effective coordination in constructive community action
  • Promoting an appreciation of the advantages and assets of our region

Grants & Scholarship Opportunities:

More than 80% of Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, Inc.’s membership is made up of small businesses. Biloxi Chamber of Commerce has instituted a program designed to assist small business development and expansion. Biloxi Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Grant Program will provide financial support for its membership. Grants will be awarded to selected businesses in the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce service area who meet the specified criteria. Applicants who have not received a Biloxi Chamber of Commerce Small Business Grant in the past 3 years will be considered first.

Biloxi Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to building a strong business climate in the City of Biloxi. The Biloxi Chamber of Commerce Re-Occupancy Grant Program has been developed to support business owners who are willing to occupy existing buildings and to increase economic viability of Biloxi. Biloxi Chamber of Commerce will award up to five (5), $1000 Re-Occupancy Grants in 2015.

Rewarding students for their commitment to academics and the community is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate leadership. A business’s commitment to education can leave a positive imprint on the life of a potential future community leader of the City of Biloxi. Through sponsorships, businesses can receive exposure to customers in the community while assisting with the financial hardships associated with the first year of college. Scholarships will be presented at the Biloxi & Gulfport Chambers of Commerce Excellence in Education Awards Ceremony.

Biloxi & Gulfport Chambers of Commerce, in partnership with local businesses, awarded $19,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors in 2016.



Biloxi Chamber of Commerce honors City of Biloxi teachers, administrators and supporters of education that strive to leave positive imprints on the youth in our community. Through sponsorships, businesses are able to receive exposure to customers, while providing validation to those in the education community for their tireless commitment. Awards are presented at Biloxi & Gulfport Chambers of Commerce Excellence in Education Awards Ceremony.

Junior Leadership Biloxi program produces students of outstanding character who are more sensitive to the needs of the community and are better able to contribute to society. Ninth grade students, who reside or go to school in the City of Biloxi, participate in the Junior Leadership Biloxi Program.  Each session provides an opportunity for exposer to a unique aspect of the City of Biloxi.  At the end of the program students that have attended every session will graduate and are presented with a diploma.

Events and Programs

The Biloxi Seafood Festival, Biloxi Chamber of Commerce’s annual fundraiser, is held at Point Cadet Plaza in Biloxi. The two-day festival is a celebration of Biloxi’s rich culture, heritage and connection to the seafood industry. Live entertainment and an array of some of the best seafood on the Mississippi Gulf Coast are just some of the reasons to attend this festival. Other weekend highlights include Sunday’s Gumbo Contest, arts & craft booths and children’s activities. 

Uncorked, a wine tasting, allows attendees to sample different wines while dinning on a fabulous array of food. Guests can also participate in huge a silent auction. Funds raised support Biloxi Chamber of Commerce grant and scholarship programs

Breakfast with the Mayor is sponsored by and held at businesses throughout the City of Biloxi. The Mayor of Biloxi offers the Mississippi Gulf Coast business community updates on news and issues in City of Biloxi. Attendees enjoy breakfast and networking, while learning more about the great City of Biloxi.

Morning Call breakfast is a long-time tradition of the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce. Quarterly, the event is sponsored by a business and held in their location. The program consists of a featured speaker and breakfast and networking for chamber members and potential members.

A celebration of our chamber members that includes food, fun, and networking. It is also platform to inform and connect potential members with current members.

The Military Spouses Tour is an opportunity to introduce new arrivals to the Mississippi Gulf Coast stationed at Keesler Air Force Base. The tour highlights local sights and activities, while welcoming newcomers to the Coast. The Military Spouses tour is designed to make the Mississippi Gulf Coast feel like a home away from home for new arrivals.

Biloxi & Gulfport Chambers of Commerce Excellence in Education Awards Ceremony is a forum to honor City of Biloxi and Gulfport teachers, administrators and supporters of education who strive to leave positive imprints on the youth in our community.
