Gulfport Chamber hosts events and programs that support its Chamber member businesses and Gulfport community in the areas of Community & Economic Development, Small Business Development, Military & Government Affairs, and Education & Workforce Development.
MargaritaFest
MargaritaFest is a beach-themed event that brings businesses and community leaders together for an evening of music, food and fun. The event grows more popular each year with over 2,000 in attendance. Proceeds from MargaritaFest go back into the Gulfport community through Gulfport Chamber’s Small Business Grant Program.
Small Business Grant Program
Gulfport Chamber’s Small Business Grant Program was created in 2006 to facilitate rebuilding efforts among small businesses affected by Hurricane Katrina. In 2008, grants ranging from $1,500 to $2,500 were awarded to six Chamber member businesses.
Small Business of the Month Program
Gulfport businesses with 50 or fewer employees submit application forms for the Small Business of the Month Program. Each month, one Gulfport business is selected and recognized as “Small Business of the Month” for its substantial contribution to the community.

Fall Meeting
Over 150 business and community leaders attend Gulfport Chamber’s Fall Meeting and enjoy networking, breakfast, and informative updates from the Mayor on initiatives and undertakings in Gulfport. Small Business Grants are awarded, and Small Business of the Month honorees are recognized at Fall Meeting.
Biloxi & Gulfport Chambers of Commerce Excellence in Education Awards
Biloxi & Gulfport Chambers of Commerce Excellence in Education Awards Ceremony is a forum that honors teachers, administrators and supporters of education. Students are rewarded with college scholarships for their commitment to academic achievement and to the community. Gulfport Chamber and Gulfport High School Mentorship Program
The purpose of the Gulfport High School/Gulfport Chamber of Commerce Mentorship Program is to enhance and enrich the lives of high school students by pairing them with local business professionals (“mentors”), and allowing them to learn about careers in which they are interested.
Military Appreciation Golf Tournament
The Annual Military Appreciation Golf Tournament gives military men and women the opportunity to partner with members of the business community to golf and help raise funds to support the services and programs of the Gulfport Chamber Military Affairs Committee.
Spring Meeting
Gulfport Chamber’s Spring Meeting is a recognition breakfast honoring excellence within military branches and first responders serving in Gulfport.
