SBA to honor two Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce members

Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce members, Cathye Ross-Amos and Celeste Foster O’Keefe will each receive Small Business Awards on June 16 at the 2009 U.S. Small Business Administration Mississippi Small Business Awards Reception. Small business owners, business leaders, government representatives, and others will join SBA’s Mississippi District Director Janita R. Stewart in congratulating Cathye Ross-Amos, owner of Ross Business Partnerships, LLC with the Minority Small Business Champion Award and Celeste Foster O’Keefe CEO of The DANCEL Group with the Entrepreneurial Success Award.
Kimberly Nastasi, CEO of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, said the businesses being recognized are two of Coast Chamber’s “most deserving members.”
“Members of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber are proactive, and extremely involved in their community,” Nastasi said. “They understand and appreciate the benefits of being active in our organization, are fully engaged in the Chamber’s program of work, and their dedication to bettering the community is apparent.”
Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization comprised of businesses in Harrison County and throughout South Mississippi. Through a partnership among the Biloxi, Gulfport, Long Beach, and Pass Christian Chambers of Commerce, Coast Chamber promotes community, leadership and economic development on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
