DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with the MSU Extension Office's MS Coastal Cleanup Program\, we host beach clean ups at the Jones Park beach throughout the year! In past beach clean ups we have collected and removed over 100 pounds of trash\, including over 500 fireworks.\n\n\n\nThe Mississippi Coastal Cleanup Program provides all the supplies necessary for the beach cleanup (gloves\, trash bags\, etc.).\n\n \nPlease bring your own:\n\n\n	Sun Protection (hat\, sunscreen\, sunglasses)\n	Close-toed shoes\n	Refillable water bottle (optional)\n	A Smile\n\n These Beach cleanups are located on Gulfport beach across from Mississippi Aquarium.\n\nCheck in is located left of the large anchor and pavilion in Jones Park.\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo volunteer\, sign up at: https://www.msaquarium.org/p/researchandconservation/community-conservation\n\nThose that register in advance help out crew and have a chance to win a MSAQ Prize Pack including tickets.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions?
