DESCRIPTION:What if everyone in Pass Christian read the same book and then joined together to talk about it?  That is the idea behind One Book\, One Pass. \n\n\n\nThe 2025 selected author\, Imani Perry\, is a professor at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute and a MacArthur Fellow.  The selected book\, South To America:  A Journey Below the Mason-Dixon To Understand the Soul of a Nation\, received the 2022 National Book Award for Nonfiction.\n\n\n\nThe community is encouraged to read the book and engage in book discussions\, panel discussions\, and other programs that will culminate in the Author Presentation by Professor Imani Perry on Thursday\, October 16th at 6:00pm at the Randolph Center in Pass Christian (315 Clark Avenue). \n\n\n\nCopies of are available for check out at the Pass Christian Library and in ebook or eaudio on Hoopla through the Harrison County Library System or for purchase at Pass Christian Books.
