We are please to announce our 2021 Rotary 5k and we hope that you can place it on your calendar. Date: October 16, 2021 Title: 13th Annual Rotary Club of Ocean Springs 5K Times: 1 mile Kid's Race 6:15 p.m.; 5K Adults’ Race ~ 7 p. Location: The Mary C. O’Keefe Center Cultural Center located at 1600 Government St. in Ocean Springs Phone: 228-324-2136 Email: mike.streiff@bxs.com Website: Raceroster.com Admission: 1 mile kid's Fun Run (12 and under – $10; 5K $25 Details: Come join us for the Coast's oldest night race! The 1st 300 registered participants for the 5K will receive moisture wicking t-shirt, BBQ sandwich, and choice of beverage! Awards will be presented to overall winners, age group winners, and walkers. There will be a 1 mile kid's Fun Run (12 and under – $10) starting at 6:15pm. There will also be an award presented to the adult and child participant with the best costume (male and female). This is a beautiful course through Ocean Springs. The race starts and finishes on the grounds of the Mary C. O'Keefe. There will be live music, food, drinks and more! Don't come just to run...come to party too! Proceeds from this event help us to provide college scholarships to Ocean Springs and St. Martin High School Seniors as well as support our other charitable causes including “Warriors for Willow”. Willow Cannan is the daughter of Amber Olsen who was the Rotary Club of Ocean Springs’ President for 2015-2016. Willow was diagnosed with Multiple Sulfatase Deficiency an EXTREMELY rare disease. Proceeds will help create the first ever clinical trial to save children with MSD. To see more visit curemsd.org.
