The First Taste: A Prelude to Taste of Long Beach

Join us for an exclusive prelude to Taste of Long Beach at Harbor View Cafe on Thursday, July 16th, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

Enjoy a specially curated four-course dining experience, beginning with light hors d'oeuvres and champagne during cocktail hour. The evening continues with a classic Caesar salad accompanied by a blackened chicken skewer and an expertly paired wine.

For your entrée, choose between:

• 8 oz. Filet Mignon with loaded mashed potatoes and a grilled shrimp skewer
• Fried Mississippi Catfish served over gouda grits and topped with Creole cream sauce

End the evening on a sweet note with Tere's trio cake sampler served with ice cream.

Each course will be thoughtfully paired with wines from E. & J. Gallo Winery, provided by Bacchus Wine & Liquor.

Beautiful floral arrangements by Forget Me Not Florist will enhance the ambiance, and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening.
