EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
Seeking candidates for Executive Director position for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community Foundation. This position will be responsible for the daily operations of the Foundation, including but not limited to, marketing, community and donor relationships, assets/fund management, and supervision of staff. This position will report to the CEO and the Board of Directors.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree. Master's degree and/or CFRE certification would be a plus. Candidates must have a minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in leadership and management, with documented ability to motivate, lead and manage staff, and volunteer teams. Previous top-level business or non-profit leadership experience, with a good understanding of finances and fiscal oversight and working with a board of directors, is required.
Candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills including some level of experience in one or more of the following areas: community relations, grant writing, research, media relations and public speaking.
The Foundation offers a competitive salary, car allowance and a benefit plan to the successful candidate along with a relocation package, if applicable.
