Work Schedule:  (1) C Shift 10:00pm – 6:30am
 
Annual Salary:    $22,039.90                                                                          Location:        Gulfport, MS  
 
Position Description: This work involves responsibility for supervising and working along with other security officers engaged in the protection of property and personnel. The work involves enforcing state laws governing state property. Incumbents receive general instructions from a superior administrative official regarding adherence to administrative policies and regulations and are directly responsible for maintaining discipline and efficiency in the security officer force.
 
*Work Schedule:  Although these positions are for specific shifts, there may be occasions when the Officer provides Security coverage for other shifts.
  
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
 
Minimum Requirements:  The applicant must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Typically requires graduation from high school or equivalent (GED) AND one (1) to three (3) years of related experience in the provision of security services.
 
Required Documentation: high school or GED diploma or official high school or GED transcript
