Inventory and Production Scheduler Job Description Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company seeks a highly motivated, well organized person with excellent communication skills to join our fast-paced beverage production team as Manager of Inventory and Production Scheduling.. The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a large scale production environment. Some formal education is required. Beverage production experience is not necessary but may be helpful. Priority will be given to candidates with training in the areas of engineering, supply chain management, industrial management, and similar programs. Starting pay rate will be determined by the candidate’s level of experience and education. REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS ? Associate’s degree (or higher) in a science or production management field OR 2+ years of experience in production scheduling or supply-chain management.. ? Dedication to working safety and ensuring the quality of products ? Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks ? Creativity, mental flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills ? Computer skills--Word, Excel, Google Drive ? Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal direct supervision in a dynamic environment. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ? Inventory Management ? Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels. ? Evaluate deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures. ? Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages. ? Manage schedules of employees, deliveries and shipments to optimize operations. ? Develop business relationships with suppliers and clients. ? Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics. ? Monitor demand and analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs. ? Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management. ? Production Scheduling ? Coordinate and develop production schedules on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to meet sales goals. Take stock of inventory levels and facilitate providing necessary materials and components. ? Quickly develop and implement alternative schedules as needed--based on equipment breakdown, material shortages, and emergency orders. ? Ensure that all relevant staff members receive the production schedule. ? Supervise staff members to ensure that deadlines are met. ? Check the quality of products to ensure that they meet client expectations. WORKING ENVIRONMENT ? Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. shoulder-high ? Ability to stand for long periods of time ? Ability to work over, under, and around equipment in tight spaces ?
