DESCRIPTION: Business Development including sales/marketing, obtaining referrals, account development and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for obtaining referrals for the agency and ensuring that customers are satisfied with the service.
Formal education required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or Marketing preferred.
Previous experience required: Three to Five years of progressive Business Development experience in Health Care.
Educate referral sources (MD’s, nursing homes and hospitals) about home care services
Market to referrals sources to obtain referrals for the agency
Make sales calls to potential referrers
Ensure that each referrer is satisfied with the referral process and the services provided
Obtain new leads from various sources to obtain new accounts
Set goals and targets for specified accounts
Conduct lunch and learns at various sites to teach referrers about home care services
Prepare presentation and marketing materials for sales calls
Coordinate meetings with key business decision makers
Oversee outreach liaisons
Other duties as assigned
