• 2021 Pat Santucci Award Recipient Announced

    Angie Juzang was named on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, as the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, Inc.’s 2021 recipient of the Pat Santucci “Spirit of the Coast” award. The award was presented in front of a crowd of nearly 500 attendees at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, Inc.’s Annual Meeting held at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino.

    Juzang serves as Vice President Marketing & Community Relations at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport.  She is responsible for managing all external and media-specific communications, implementing traditional and digital advertising platforms, and coordinating corporate and community relations. Juzang’s career has included positions with WLOX and Garden Park Hospital. 

    In 2013, Juzang founded The Legacy Group, an organization dedicated to enhancing the economic prosperity of African American professionals and business owners. A few years ago, she helped the organization to include all minorities and co-founded The Legacy Business League.  Juzang has received multiple community awards and accolades including the Gulfport NAACP’s Drum Major of Peace.  She has served on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast, City of Gulfport Civil Service Commission, Goodwill Industries of South Mississippi and the Gulfport NAACP.

    Juzang has served the MS Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce is leadership roles including President of the Coast Chamber Board of Directors, President of the Biloxi Chamber Board of Directors and Chair of the Board of Trustees of Leadership Gulf Coast.
