Gulfport Chamber of Commerce Presents a Legislative Update Featuring Mississippi Secretary of State Michael Watson
Mississippi Secretary of State Michael Watson will be the featured speaker during the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce’s annual legislative update on Friday, October 30. The program will be held virtually via Zoom.
Secretary Watson, a native of Pascagoula, served 12 years in the state senate and is now serving as the 36th Secretary of State. The Secretary of State's Office is composed of six divisions, including the Business Services Division, Elections Division and the Regulation and Enforcement Division.
“Secretary Watson is responsible for a vast array of policies that affect our local businesses and leaders,” says Tracy Yanez, director of the Gulfport Chamber. “We expect this to be a very informative program.”
In addition to hearing from Watson, the Coast Centurion Association, also a division of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, will be announcing its annual veteran-owned business grant recipient.
Digital access passes for the program are $15 for Chamber members and $25 for general admission. For more information or inquiries about sponsorship opportunities, email Tracy Yanez at email@example.com or call the Chamber office at 228-604-0014.
