Pass Christian Chamber to Host Christmas in the Pass
Start the holiday season off right at the 32nd annual Pass Christian Chamber of Commerce Christmas in the Pass celebration. This two-day festival, located in Downtown Pass Christian, incorporates the merriment with a Christmas tree lighting, a holiday parade featuring Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elves, as well as food, arts, and gifts. The festival occurs on Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd, and attendance is complimentary.
On December 2nd, attendees are encouraged to bring their pets to participate in the annual Pet Pawrade. Prizes will be given for best costumes and more. Registration is at noon, with the parade at 1 p.m.
“Christmas in the Pass is a family tradition that we are so excited to continue again this year,” said Gabrielle Rose, Pass Christian Chamber of Commerce Director. “From the tree lighting and the parade to shopping from local merchants and vendors, there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
The Pass Christian Chamber of Commerce held a Christmas in the Pass Art Contest in September, and Tiffany Maimone of Long Beach was named the winner. Her artwork is featured on the event t-shirt as well as on the promotional materials.
