Rose Hired as Director for Long Beach and Pass Christian Chambers
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, Inc. has hired Gabrielle Rose as the new Director for the Long Beach and Pass Christian Chambers of Commerce.
“The Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber is excited to welcome Gabrielle Rose to our team,” said Adele Lyons, Chief Executive Officer of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, Inc. “She brings experience and enthusiasm to the organization. Gabrielle has already hit the ground running in Long Beach and Pass Christian.”
Rose received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in May of 2012 from the University of Mississippi. Rose worked for Vowell, Inc., where she held the role of Account Executive and Social Media, Online, and Circulation Manager. She aided in company-wide decision-making, social media and website management, as well as circulation promotions with the magazine. Subsequently, Rose served as the Public Relations Assistant for The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Rose managed social media accounts and distributed press releases and feature stories to be sent to the media. She also assisted in school-wide event planning and contributed articles to the Ole Miss Alumni Review and the School of Pharmacy’s publication, Pharmacy Matters. Most recently, Rose continued her Public Relations Assistant role at Georgia Southwestern State University. Along with managing the website and social media accounts, she conducted interviews, assisted in event planning, wrote press releases and feature stories to be distributed to media, as well as served as editor of the university’s online newsletter.
Rose was a member of the Junior League of Little Rock and publicity assistant for the Junior League’s Holiday House. She also served on the Executive Board of the Public Relations Association of Mississippi’s Oxford-Ole Miss chapter.
