Elaine is an Award-winning writer, producer, public relations, media consultant. Cross country career from New York to California in radio/television, broadcaster/voiceover, investigative reporter/anchor, documentary/television series production, development of original programming, host of Art Beat; Co-authored two biographies. Short listed 2017 Faulkner Words & Music Literary Festival, New Orleans; winner Mary Helen Washington Literary Award 2018, Detroit. 2019 Finalist Faulkner Wisdom Competition. Currently completing memoir, Mermaid in the Window. Married to Jim Smith, two grown children, 3 dogs, resides in bucolic bungalow, Latimer.
