Join OOMA in welcoming exhibiting artist Clifton Webb as he discusses his artistic background and the influences behind his current exhibit “Icons: The Muse.” Webb creates striking sculpture using a visual ‘alphabet’ derived from years of studying of from the African continent. This visual alphabet developed in an effort to represent, and to pay homage to, those who went before. It is a means of creating artwork that commands reverence and is identifiable as “African American.”
