The Gulf of Mexico provides food, shelter, protection, security, energy, habitat, recreation, transportation, and navigation – playing an important role in our communities, states, region, and nation.
To highlight the value and the vitality of the Gulf of Mexico region, the Gulf of Mexico Alliance is launching a five-state awareness campaign, “Embrace the Gulf 2020." The effort will be conducted throughout 2020 and will engage multi-state stakeholders across the business, science, education, tourism and community sectors to amplify messages that share the importance of the Gulf of Mexico as a body of water and a region.
