Push your throwing techniques to the next level! This class focuses on throwing larger pieces, making handles, spouts, and lidded vessels. This class can be used as a guided study. We will address altering techniques and creating and designing more difficult forms like oval casserole dishes, pitchers, lidded jars, and bottles. Students will work with cone 6 oxidation and cone 10 reduction glazes. Basic throwing skills required. Class fee includes one 25 pound bag of clay and all glazes, class firings, and instruction.
