Annual Salary: $26,185.60-$ 35,743.34                    Work Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm,  Monday-Friday

Position Description: Behavioral Health professional work in assessing, identifying, and treating mental health/behavioral concerns. Individuals in this classification provide direct services to individuals, including psychoeducation, individual therapy/supportive counseling, group therapy, assistance with treatment plan development, and behavior support services. Individuals in this classification provide services while under the direct supervision of an appropriately licensed/certified Behavioral Health professional, including the administration of screening assessments of behavioral and emotional functioning, intelligence, achievement, and adaptive functioning.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to plan treatment for patients, residents, and/or consumers.
• Assists in implementing written behavioral and therapeutic programs for patients, residents, and/or consumers.
• Assists in monitoring, recording, filing residents’ behavior.
• Provides individual supportive counseling or psycho-educational intervention to individuals suffering from mental illness. Provides assistance to residents in active treatment programs. 
• Performs data entry in various software programs. Attends meetings and reports data. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.
